Joanne Gothard assists attorneys in matters involving natural resources development and land use regulation.
Ms. Gothard earned her law degree, with great distinction, from University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law in 2021. While at McGeorge, she served as both a writer and editor on the McGeorge Law Review, as a Research Assistant to Distinguished Professor of Law, Michael Vitiello, and as a Teaching Assistant for the Legal Research and Writing course. Ms. Gothard also served as a legal extern to the Honorable Judge Edmund Brennan at the United States District Court for the Eastern District of California, and to the Honorable Justice Ronald Robie at the California Third District Court of Appeal. Ms. Gothard’s academic honors include: (1) Order of the Coif; (2) Traynor Honor Society; (3) Anthony M. Kennedy Scholar; (4) Witkin Awards for top grade in Legal Research & Writing, Remedies, Business Associations, and Family Law. Prior to law school, Ms. Gothard earned her B.A. in English from San Francisco State University in 2009.
